As Miamisburg locals, my wife and I have made SushiNero our absolute go-to. The food is consistently incredible, and we are always treated like regulars by the warm, welcoming staff. While their regular fusion menu is fantastic, you cannot miss their phenomenal weekly ramen and udon specials. Highly recommend checking them out!

Oof, I had high hopes going into this restaurant after reading reviews. It isn’t bad. We have had really good sushi and we have eaten at excellent sushi restaurants, so the standards are high. The place is small, and we were seated at a table in between two other tables that were essentially connected, so you were so close to others that you could hear everything they were doing and saying the entire time. My water arrived with a hair on it, no big deal, just not going to drink it. The main draw was the sushi. I ordered the Amarillo roll off of the sushi menu. It is not a sushi roll but just fried ingredients. See attached photo. My husband ordered the Shogun roll. It was ok. The avocado roll was ok as well. Service was fine. Overall the experience was ok. I doubt we will return as we feel we have had better sushi elsewhere and the seating/atmosphere did not appeal to us.

They've been open a year and I have no idea why it took me so long to get there! I had the oysters and ahi tuna. Both were fresh and tasty. Definitely on point with their sauce game as well. I also got to chat with the owner which is always a treat! If you've not been there yet, you definitely need to stop by soon!

My husband and I went on a date here. And we were thoroughly pleased with the atmosphere as well as the menu. My compliments to the chef! We did not meet him personally, but we were told he is Japanese and lived in Spain. From that background, he creates his menu of Japanese and Spanish fusion. It is very unique for the area and I was surprised to find something of this caliber and execution outside of Columbus and downtown Cincinnati. But I could not complain about the price point. (I've seen the things Speakeasy does in Troy and this chef could easily charge more. So glad he does not). If you are looking for something beyond the nerd Japanese core offerings and truly desire a skilled chef making Japanese food, go here. You will not be disappointed.
